Specialist at Dr. Rose Private Hospital always weighs up the possibility of ambulant treatment and/or examination. In special cases, when the physical state of the patient or the nature of the disease requires not only treatment but also medical nursing, then we would recommend hospitalization.

Reasons why hospitalization is recommended:
- The level of seriousness of the illness and state of the patient
- Need of nursing
- Venous liquid supplement, the need of giving medicines via IV
- Need of transfusion
- Need of preparation before a diagnostic or therapeutic treatment during the following day of the hospital stay
- Monitoring and treatment after not-ambulant surgery
- Preparation and post-care of birth and C-section
- Treatment that requires constant monitoring (i.e. epidural anaesthesia)
- Need of constant, medical instrumental monitoring (i.e. heart diseases)
- Need of repeated laboratory examination, that cannot be done with home-used appliances
- Special examinations at night: sleeping examinations (i.e. breathing during sleeping, etc.), EEG examinations
- Comfort reasons (several days of examinations or when the patient’s home is located in far reach from the hospital)

At Dr. Rose Private Hospital we also treat those patients who do not need intensive monitoring and care. The ambulant care and treatment of these patients cannot be solved in any other way, due to their health state or nature of the disease.
