In 2001 I obtained a Urology special examination, in 2003 I made a scientific Ph.D. degree and then in 2006 with the resignation of the European special examination, I became the member of the European Urologist Professional Corporation. I work as a Head of Department Senior Lecturer at the Urological Clinic of Semmelweis University.
Under Professor Romics’s management at Semmelweis University I had the opportunity for the daily cultivation of the requested three - the research, the education and the curing.
I see the significance of these in that we are able to apply the newest and the most modern examinations and therapies at the earliest, in order to indigent patients.
Between 1995 and 2000 I worked at Urologic Department of Heim Pál Child Hospital in Budapest. In 2000-2001 I practised at the Institute of Urology and Nephrology at University College London and in the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children. Since 2001 I have been working at Urological Clinic of Semmelweis University.
Professional orientation
Inside the Urology specialty, at the beginning of my profession, I have already been interested in the Reconstructive Surgery of male exterior genitals and urethra, the Minimal Invasive Urological Interventions and Laparoscopy. The restoration of serious developmental and acquired abnormalities of the penis and the urethra and the Aesthetic Surgeries remain a big challenge for me, which demands wide-ranging preparedness and great experience.
In the past 13 years I made shorter and longer field trips to the world’s outstanding centres in Germany, France, England and United States, where I had the opportunity to acquire knowledge from the most unique and difficult interventions by applying the most modern methods. At the beginning of my profession, more than 10 years ago, as the country first – we had conducted the first Laparoscopic Interventions on children.
