István Batyalik, M.D. Orthopaedics

istván batyalik, m.d. orthopaedics

I graduated in 1994 at Semmelweis Medical University ÁOK academic specialisation.

I gained in 1999 Orthopaedic-, in 2005 Casualty Surgery specialisation. After university I received a position at the ORFI Orthopaedic Department, where I obtained experience in big joint protetics (hip, knee, and shoulder), Spine Surgery and in other Orthopaedic operations as well as in different diagnostic procedures.

From October 2000 I have been working at MÁV Hospital Orthopeadics-Traumatology ward, which now operates as ÁEK Orthopaedics ward. I taught Orthopaedics subject at Szentágotai Health Secondary School for ten years until its last year’s ceasing.

In the past years I have completed several courses which are related to one of the areas of the locomotor medicine, for instance Arthroscopy, Laser Therapy, Acupuncture, Manual Therapy, AO manual and Spine Surgery postgraduate courses.
I declare that in locomotor surgery the treatment cannot be separated sharply from the treatment in emergency (Traumatology, Spine Surgery) and elective (Orthopaedics, Spine Surgery) Locomotor Surgery, as well as the conservative Rheumatologic (Orthopaedics, Neurology) treatments.
The state of the patient depends on his/her physical conditions and his/her soul has an effect on it. Serious emotional burdens (continuous stress, tragedies, etc.) render the existing problems more significantly. Therefore we cannot disregard these during the treatment.

Professional orientation
Currently I am mostly dealing with Orthopaedic Surgery, within this field I also attend to big joint protetics (hip, knee) and the revisions (exchange) of those.
Besides this I also regularly conduct ‘new’ shoulder, hand and foot surgical interventions and Arthroscopies.
For more than a decade I have been dealing with spine patients and conduct regular screenings at schools, kindergartens and for infants.
