Ambulant Surgeries

An ambulant surgery is a surgical intervention which does not require a full detailed check-up. The patient does not have to go under general anaesthesia; the surgery is performed under local anaesthesia. These surgeries mostly entail the make of small incisions, for example the removal of birthmarks or an overgrowth of a nail.
After the surgical intervention – following a short observation period – we allow the patient to return home once all medical paper work has been completed.

Ambulant surgeries include the following:
- removal of different types of mutations of the skin and/or colored birthmarks
- removal of small, fat bundles under the skin and/or tallow cysts
- in the case of surgical excision and/or the treatment of the ulcers, festers, barber’s rash, etc.

Removal of warts, colored birthmarks and the mutations of the skin are antedated by dermatological examinations, however it is not compulsory in the case of other types of mutations. Surgery is followed by a pathological examination and depending on the results another dermatological examination can be suggested.
