ágnes farkas, m.d. ophthalmologist

I believe in the fact that the eye is our most important sense organ: losing eyesight in one of the eyes lead to serious decay of the quality of life. For decades as an Eye-specialist I have strived in helping to prevent eye diseases, to diagnose any abnormalities in time and to choose the most suitable therapy.

I have attended a large number of national and international Ophthalmologic institutes to gain experiences. Since my university’s accomplishment, I have actively been working at almost just one workplace: Ophthalmological Clinic in Mária street, in Budapest.

I received my scientific degree in Berlin, at Charite Ophthalmological Clinic. My activities at the university’s Ophthalmologic Clinic include the examination of patients suffering special illnesses, teaching doctors and specialists, and guide them in their professional development.

Professional orientation
In addition to my general Eye-specialist activities I also deal with the diagnosis of the genetic diseases of the retina and its genetic background.
