Since 2007 I have been practicing at Dr. Rose Medical Center as the Head Physician and head of the Outpatient Clinic.
My medical studies have been published at Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest between 1989 and 1995. During my studies I have also spent time in the clinical practices in Austria, Germany and Norway.
After completing Medical School I started my medical carrier at the 2nd Department of Medicine at Semmelweis University, which gave me the opportunity to access all the Clinic existing sub-specialities of Internal Medicine (for example: General Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetology, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Nephrology, Cardiology, Hypertension- and Intensive Care, Hematology and Oncology and Immunology). In addition it also broadened my knowledge in being able to learn from leading Physicians in Hungary, as well as have the opportunity to treat a high number of patients at our Medical Institute.
After obtaining the scientific scholarship (DFG - Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) of the Federal Republic of Germany I worked in Göttingen between 1998 and 2000 in the special research field (SFB - Sonderforschungsbereich) of “Molecular- and Cellular Hepatogastroenterology” - which was under the leadership of Professor Jungermann and later Professor Ramadori – who served as a member of the international postgraduate training- and research group “Clinical-, cellular-, and molecular biology of internal organs” (under the leadership of Professor Burckhardt). The research project was performed at the Department of Gastroenterology and Endocrinology of the Center of Internal Medicine at the University of Göttingen, under the leadership of Professor Ramadori, where I was invited in 2002 as guest research lecturer (Gastwissenschaftler).
In Hungary I continued my clinical work and treated patients at Semmelweis University 2nd Department of Medicine and passed the state examination in Internal Medicine in 2003, and in Gastroenterology in 2005. Our Clinic was responsible for not only regional medical attendance, but according to the progressive principle of the Hungarian Health Care system, also for national responsibilities (at that time the headquarters of the National Institution of Internal Medicine was based at the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine, now known as the National Institution – because of administrative restructuring of the Hungarian Health Care system – it does not exist anymore). I therefore had the opportunity to meet and treat a significant number of patients with different levels of severances.
Apart from treating patients and conducting research I also educated medical students in Internal Medicine in Hungarian, English and German. In 2005 my Ph.D. studies specialised in IGF (Insulin-like Growth Factor) system, inflammatory cytokines and the liver which was completed successfully and thereafter in 2006 I worked at the University of Massachusetts Department of Internal Medicine Division of Hepatology.
Since 2007 I have been practising at Dr. Rose Private Hospital as the Head Physician and Head of the Outpatient Clinic.
During the past years our Institution enjoyed a first class reputation not only in Hungary but also internationally. This is demonstrated by the fact that in the past four years I treated patients from more than 80 different countries; representing each continent in the World. Many of them returned again to Budapest or contacted me to acquire answers and assistance for their medical problems (medical documentations are available to all our patients upon request and is available in Hungarian or alternatively English, German and Russian). My responsibilities also include the medical treatment and attendance of V.I.P. patients and the co-ordination of their medical supplies.
Professional orientation
During the past years my scientific interest extended into the biological and physiological process of aging to the research of its possible therapeutical intervention regarding the topic publications and chapters in text-books, which has been published in partnership with Professor Béla Székács.
In 2009 Lambert Scientific Publisher (Köln) requested a publication from my work and I have therefore attended the publication process of a monography under the title: “Acute Phase Mediators and the IGF System”.
